Spring Harvest

Happy Easter everyone!

Last week we were down in Minehead running Distinctive, the 11-14′s venue for Spring Harvest (Week 1). This is the sixth year I’ve been involved in the 11-14′s programme and yet again I absolutely loved being part of such an amazing and talented team! Sim has already posted on what we were up to here, but nothing can quite explain the reason for this…

It was an emotional and tiring week with my personal highlight seeing many young people prayed for about being ‘sent out’ (this was in response to a talk on being Apostolic People). One young lady sticks in my mind for knowing that God wants her to go to Mozambique and spread the Gospel! Amazing, yet I know there were many more.

A big THANK YOU to all the young people and the team that made it such an exciting time. Please let us know your testimonies or experiences of what God is doing in your lives.

from age 15-25, I attended the Spring Harvest celebration, and I have fantastic memories of it. I met lots of lovely people. I have lots of hilarious photos to prove that I went – in those days I had a humungus perm!!!!!! Now i'm happy to say that my daughter Becky Adams is following in her mum's footsteps, and she absolutely cannot wait for it to come around each year. She has made some fab friends who she MSN's, and there is a massive explosion each year when she and her friends re-unite. Needless to say, they dono't get a wink of sleep but hey they have the best time of their lives hanging out. Roll on 24 July Stafford showground, for the BIG 2009 Spring Harvest event. It's fun, it's magical and it'sELECTRIC !!!!!

However, it is Soul Survivor NOT Spring Harvest that is happening at Stafford Showground on 24th July. You can find out more about the event here.
