Why is it that sometimes, simple tasks become such a burden that you find yourself doing anything else except what you need to? I usually find writing assignments, tidying the house, or doing the banking fall into this category. Right now I need to finish the 11-14′s teaching notes for Spring Harvest. They were due in last week. It’s not that they’re difficult or taxing, I just seem to keep drifting off. Still, there’s always tomorrow…

This year will be my 20th consecutive year at the event (started in 1988) and met my wife at the event in 1989. We are huge fans of the event and it has profoundly influenced my Christian faith and walk over the years. Our kids (8,5 and 3) are also addicts for the event now too.
We continue to lead a monthly all age event at church, triggered by what we experienced in the all age celebrations at the event plus not being satisfied that our church was doing all it could do creatively etc on a Sunday morning. Hi Simon, thanks for leaving a comment. I went to Spring Harvest as a kid and have now been involved with the 11-14′s group for the last 5 years at Minehead. We’ll be there Week 1 this year.
Great blog you have there. I love all the info in the sidebar. I switched to WordPress as blogger didn’t support those plug-ins (out-of-the-box) at the time. Also thanks for the book recommendations. I’ll let you know how I get on!
