For the past few weeks, I had been planning a series of posts about the various online Social Media tools explaining what they were and how they could potentially be used within youth work. However, I’ve realised that rather than re-invent the wheel, I should just point out the excellent One Page Guides written by Tim Davies. As Tim states:
The goal is that each sheet should take someone from not knowing what a particular social media tool is, nor how they would use it – to at least having taken the first steps to using it in a sensible and sustainable way. And it should do that in no more than one side of A4.

Each is available as a pdf download from Tim’s site and he has published the guides under a Creative Commons Licence so they are free to use, edit and distribute. People are even beginning to remix the guides already. Just make sure you link back to Tim.
